This project is 8 feet long and now
graces the back wall of a high bar.
The second mosaic was more challenging.
This one I designed for
a couple who are card players.
I wanted to combine elements that said something about
each of them and both of them.

The paper doilie gave me some idea
for incorporating the thistle in the
design since the wife is from Scotland.
However, in the final design is was left

The yellow and red were colors I
wanted to incorporate with the black
and white chessboard.
