| This project is 8 feet long and now graces the back wall of a high bar. |
| The second mosaic was more challenging. This one I designed for a couple who are card players. I wanted to combine elements that said something about each of them and both of them. She favored Mediterranean yellow and orange which I tried to incorporate in the final work. The chess board was the main element that didn't change given how much they love to entertain and play games. |

| The paper doilie gave me some idea for incorporating the thistle in the design since the wife is from Scotland. However, in the final design is was left out. |
